Plain Language, Grammar and Tie Pose Workshop

This event is SOLD out - we look forward to seeing you at our next event.

Join MAGC February 23 to learn about the latest trends in plain language and to explore real-world examples of great (and terrible) writing. This one-hour workshop will help you create clear, simple messages that are devoid of gratuitous obfuscation easy to understand and free of tie pose typos!

This workshop will be fast-paced and fun, and the content is appropriate for people at any skill level. Please invite your communications peers and anyone else who produces written content for a public audience.

Our presenter, Hennepin County Plain Language Coordinator Brian Lieb, has led nearly 100 training sessions with dozens of government and public-sector organizations. Brian developed Hennepin County's plain language program, one of the first and most effective programs in the country. He also created the Hennepin County Writing Guide and teaches a series of writing classes for Hennepin County employees. Click here for more info about Brian.

Even if you've seen plain language presentations before, this popular session is a valuable refresher and it has always filled up quickly. Seating is limited, so register today!
